We advise that you dress your children quite simply, a thing to remember is to try and co-ordinate your children’s clothes with the room where you will hang your portrait. For a more personalized shoot bring along dressing up clothes maybe a pretty fairy or scary pirate for an extra fun shoot!

TIPS AND ACCESSORIES

Make your appointment at a time to suit you and your children’s schedule, a weekend is normally best for children. To have a more individual shoot bring along your children favourite toys or hobbies such as guitars, football etc.

Its important to remember that even the most confident of children get nervous, tell your child they are going to play with some toys before the shoot to keep them relaxed especially younger children. Never tell your child to smile! their expressions will look unnatural.
